WHAT IS TEMPLE?:  Temple is a weekly alternative dance night that takes place every Saturday night at the Electric Ballroom in Knoxville TN. Spawned from the Gothic/Industrial dance nights and infused with a need to expand, Temple features various types of music: 80s retro, gothic, industrial, EBM, punk, rockabilly, middle eastern, Bhangra, showtunes, urban, house, trance, and just about anything else danceable that you won't hear at your regular night club.

:an object or bodily part whose real or fantasized presence is psychologically necessary for sexual gratification and that is an object of fixation to the extent that it may interfere with complete sexual expression

What is Fetish? is an event that takes place about every 6 months at Temple and explores the world of fetish in a safe, sane and consentual environment. It is both a learning experience for those new to the fetish world and a gathering place for those who have been deeply involved  in various fetish lifestyles for years and just about anyone that enjoys a good night out that may be a bit curious.

"What is Fetish?" is NOT  a play party or a fetish show. Think of it more like a Munch or meet and greet with great music and lots of information, performers and vendors.
